Three days workshop on “Reproductive Health” Under Earth Quake Relief Project-Women Friendly Spaces” at SACHET’s Mansehra office

Three days workshop for 26 WFS staff and support group members was organized at SACHET Mansehra office. Participants in the workshop came from five different villages 1- Bedadi 2- Daryal3- Buzbella 4-Shawal Najf 5- Bararkot of District Mansehra. This workshop was conducted by Dr. Attiqa from FPAP. This group including volunteers will disseminate RH related information to the women and girls in their respective villages.

Services at Women Friendly Spaces in Mansehra District

SACHET established five Women Friendly Centers at five different locations in two tehsils of District Mansehra (Mansehra and Balakot) all five centers are fully functional and providing following services at the centers to the women and girls of the area.

Information dissemination on general health and reproductive health
Medical assistance through building capacity building of TBAs of the areas
Awareness raising sessions on legal rights
Referral to the other organization working on relief and rehabilitation.
Literacy and computer classes for women and girls
Skill and vocational training courses
Library services
Counseling on RH and psycho-social support
Sports
