"SACHET always took pride in its Pakistani identity and remained true to its slogan "An organization for Pakistanis by Pakistanis" while bearing the flag of promoting human development under the visionary leadership of its President Dr. A Q Khan (NI & Bar, HI). At this juncture, when over policy makers are emphasizing on the civil society organizations to be Pakistan focused in their programme, SACHET is confident that its image, policies and activities have essentially remained Pakistan driven, a fact that our stakeholders acknowledge". This was the statement of Dr. Rakhshinda Perveen, Executive Vice President, SACHET, here at the press show of SACHET's TV Magazine Show "Pakistan Pakistan". Emphasizing the importance of mass media in today's Information and Knowledge led age, Dr. Rakhshinda briefed the audience on the pioneering role of SACHET in harnessing the potentials of electronic media for social uplift and carving a unique Pakistani identity in the very first endeavor on part of not for profit organizations in Pakistan to use this medium for creation of Gender sensitization and bring to light issues never discussed before. Gender Watch was honored with PTV Award 1999 as a token of acknowledgement of its impact.

Reasserting its Pakistani image, SACHET this year has produced a TV Magazine Show "Pakistan", a 21 minute long tribute to our motherland.

Beginning with a beautiful song written and composed by Asif Arbab, the Show ends with a passion stirring national anthem followed by thought provoking verses from Ahmed Nadeem Qasmi.

A lot of thinking and efforts had gone in the making of this show within a limited time and other resources, which we hope would be successful in catching viewers' attention as well as adding to the credibility of SACHET.
