Over 450 patients received free treatment in one-day eye screening camp at Gagri, Sihala

SACHET-Pakistan organized a one-day free eye screening camp with the collaboration of Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, Rawalpindi on Sunday, 12th September 2021 at SACHET clinic Gagri, Japan road, Sihala Islamabad.The eye camp was aimed at providing free Eye Care Services to the disadvantaged populace in the rural areas of Islamabad district. A huge number of community members including men, women and children showed up for the camp including community members from Lohi Bheer, Sawan Garden, Bhandar, Khurd, PWD, Naval Encourage, Pind Malkan, DHA, Pind Gagri, Dhok Darziyan, Gagri Niaziyan, Koral Town, Hard-o-Gahr, Rawat, Jhandala, Dhok Khardiri, Darvala, Sihala, Dhok Awan, Noori Syedan, Ghanghota Syedan, Morgah, and Partha.

Summary of diagnosis during the eye camp

Total 460 patients were treated in OPD, on the basis of visual acuity test, some patients were referred to Eye Specialist or Kerometry examination. The camp managed following cases:
