SACHET Computer Training Project (Learn to Earn)
SACHET initiated the establishment of Computer Training Centers in rural communities (Shahdra, Banigala, Pinyali, Chakwal and Attock district) with the aim to equip the youngsters (girls and boys) with IT skills while offering least cost solution to unemployed youth through Learn to Earn Project.
The reason behind establishing the computer centers was to provide an easy access of computer education to the disadvantaged students of these areas as there was no computer training center in the surrounding areas.
Till June 2015 a total number of 4,987 students (girls and Boys) have learnt IT skills through our training centers.
Dr. A. Q. Khan Scholarship” is one of the Projects of SACHET’s Education Program. SACHET is running this project with the aim to provide equal opportunities of education to the needy but brilliant students. The beneficiaries of the project can be as many as can be easily adjusted within our limited budget. The scholarships granted encourage the beneficiaries to develop their hidden potentials and to help the Govt efforts to enhance the literacy rates by giving either full or partial tuition fees to the deserving candidates. Thus, these candidates are thus at no disadvantage as compared to students who can afford to pay the expenses from their own resources.
Dr. A.Q. Khan Scholarship is only offered for the students residing within the vicinity of SACHET Community Development Program Areas located in Pathargarh in Attock, Pinyali & Gagri in Rawalpindi and rural Islamabad.
Priority is given to orphans and girls.
Till June 2015, a total number of 237 Students have received educational scholarships.
